My name is Juan Carlos Li, General Manager of Litec Corporation. Our company has been representing Kekkilä Professional in Peru for the last 10 years. The Peruvian market has evolved in the the last few years considerably. It is a market where we are reaching the most demanding customers: the agroexporters, which have to meet the demands of their customers around the world. The biggest challenges we face today is to be able to meet the technical needs of our customers. As the market has become increasingly technical, that is where we have to tackle this challenge to provide the necessary products addressing the specific needs of our customers. The advantage that we have at Kekkilä Professional is a broad portfolio and we can really prepare a suitable mix according to the needs of our customers' crops. We are looking for something very important, which is trust, quality and to be able to have in them an innovative company that today's market demands. For us, it is innovation and service determinant to be able to better reach our customers and satisfy their needs. We have a close relationship, we are strategic partners and that the benefits that we have is the wide range of options to be able to solve the problem of our customers together, to see the needs of our customers so that we can provide a suitable product addressing the needs of our customers. Hello, good morning. My name is Carlos Gereda, Executive President of Inka's Berries. We are today in our San Javier farm, which is a new location we have in Chiclayo, Lambayeque. Today we are in the San Javier farm which is the newest farm of the company where we have 220 hectares. We are a company active in the industry for 13 years. We started as a nursery and currently we also have the "Grower" business unit, where we are at the moment. Currently, the company has a land extension of 2,000 hectares of which 450 hectares are already planted. We focus basically on our genetics. Two of the first varieties we released are Salvador and Matías. We can currently see the Matías variety right behind us. These are our varieties that we have developed in cooperation with the University of Georgia. And we are still developing new genetics for the future. Well that's basically what we've delved into so far. Well, as I was saying, the company has two business units. The "genetics" business unit where we develop plants for third parties. As we are a nursery, we have a lab, we have a breeding genetic improvement program and the nursery itself. The "growers" business unit is where we have the productive farms and we develop fruit for the most demanding markets, such as the United States. and Europe basically. Definitely the quality of the seedling is very important. And for this it is necessary to have a lot of experience in the production of the plants. Always the starting point in a perennial crop is very important. For example, one can expect that this crop gets at least 10 years of life. And the planting of the plant is only once. So the requirement in the quality of the seedling is very important in order to be successful in the long term. What we look for in our suppliers is that they should be companies that know a lot about the sector and that they have very good quality products. That also understand how our industry is and how we develop our products based on what they offer to us. So quality, reliability, experience and adaptability. are our requirements for our suppliers. In agriculture as we all know there are always going to be developments or there are always going to be new challenges, and you have to be able to adapt very quickly. We value very much these elements in our suppliers. We work with the Kekkilä Professional brand for 13 years already. Since we started as a company. We have been customers from the very beginning. Kekkilä Professional substrate is the one we have been using since we started. In the nursery stage, in the "genetics" business unit, we work a lot with Kekkilä Professional substrate. Additionally, in the "growers" stage as well, as we do cultivation in containers, we also use the Kekkilä Professional substrate mix. In truth, the product is very good, it is very stable. It allows us to forecast production in a correct way because it is stable. Other firms probably do not have the same quality nor the same substrate stability, which is what we value highly, both for the nursery stage and for commercial fields. Well it's something very important, it's a task for us as distributors of Kekkilä Professional in Peru, to be able to, first identify the needs. To make a research with our customers to see what are the needs that their crops need in order to to advise them in the best way with a good product and that they can have the benefits and the expectations that our customers need to meet. Well, I think for everyone this stage that we have lived through is something particular something that we have not experienced in the 18 years we have as a company here in Peru. Some very difficult moments, but I believe that as always to every challenge, there comes an opportunity. And this has allowed us to strengthen our relationship with Kekkilä Professional, to have a much closer relationship so that we can go out together tackling these issues, mainly logistical issues that have affected us. I think that the only way to be able to deal with these problems is a solid teamwork and we have achieved that thanks to the close partnership we have with Kekkilä Professional.
